→ washing with water → magnetic separation → hydraulic classification → quartz concentrate.
The main product of the wet process is 20~120 mesh wet sand, which is then pickled and flotated to form 60~140 mesh refined
quartz sand, which can be used for solar borosilicate glass collector tubes, medicinal glass and high temperature resistant pressing
Production of special glass.
In the process flow, the core of the wet process is to use the traditional mechanical scrubbing iron removal technology of stone
wheel grinding, and cooperate with magnetic separation to remove iron impurities in the quartzite ore.my country's wet processing
of quartz sand raw materials is mainly distributed in Fengyang, Anhui, Linyi, Shandong and Shahe, Hebei. Yinan ordinary quartz sand
contains 90%~99% SiO2 and 0.06%~0.02% Fe2O3 content.
The surface is covered with yellow skin, and the particle size range is 0.85~4.00mm. Fengyang ordinary quartz sand contains
SiO2≥99.3% and Fe2O3≤0.030%, and the particle size is 0.037~0.85mm. Shahe ordinary quartz sand contains 99.5%~99.9% SiO2,
Fe2O3 is less than 0.005%, and contains more mica.
Dry production does not use water, saves energy, has no dust pollution, and has low iron content in the product. Wet production
yields high yields.
The main process of the dry process is: rough crushing of raw ore by jaw crusher → secondary crushing → screening and soil removal
→ rod mill grinding → magnetic separation → coarse separation → fine separation → cyclone, in which coarse separation and fine
separation are performed. Separation will produce 20~120 mesh
silica sand, which can be used for the preparation of float glass. After the product of the dry process is processed by flotation, by-products
such as 120-mesh fiber sand can be obtained.
The dry process is a mature process widely used by domestic quartz sand production enterprises. It can produce products with different
particle sizes and different moisture content at any time according to the requirements of the enterprise. The equipment is large-scale,
highly automated, and has no dust pollution. Recycling, does not pollute the surrounding environment.
