Introduction

The Hindered settling classifier makes use of the rising water to form turbulent flow in the container, which makes the large or relatively large particles concentrate to the bottom of the container and discharge from the bottom valve, while the small particles and the lighter particles overflow from the overflow weir plates and collect into the overflow groove, thus achieving the separation of various minerals. Hindered settlingt classification is widely used in silica sand, especially in strict classification of silica sand for glass, removal of coarse particles and heavy minerals from silican sand, and recovery of foundry sand.

Strict classification silica sand or other mineral coarse and fine particles,It can replace the undersize sieve, Be used for potency dimension control.Particle separation with specific gravity.

Working Principle

The mixture of the sand and water are fed from the top through the feeder trough ,moving down in the cylinder body at the action of the gravity . There is an empty water jet plate at the bottom of the barrel, which gradually forms a fluidized bed when the rising water interacts with the falling solid particles . Particles of different particle sizes will fall down or move up at a blocked drop rate at the volume concentration . With the help of electronic pressure sensor, the pressure condition of the sulfide bed layer can be measured and the opening degree of the ore discharge valve can be automatically adjusted to ensure the accurate separation classification as required
